Could be an error, or maybe not. Right now Amazon has a Yongnuo YN-467 listed at $4.52 + 0.50 cents shipping. [Thanks Jamaal] So for just about a grand total of $5.02 cents, you could be walking away with an extra flash. These Yongnuos don't support communication with the cameras as the higher end models, but event photographers normally keep them in Manual Mode, throw a cheap wireless receiver on them and place them around a room.     I ordered 8 of this flash and I received an email stating that it was an error for this item is impossible for its price of 4$ something. I think as a customer they need to still send me the item for which I have expected to be delivered. Bestdealusa sucks or studiohut many names for them. Let me know if u received an email canceling ur orders. Thanks.

    I just got an email from the seller saying it was a massive mistake. on monday they will email out a coupon to all of us for 10% off a single purchase.
    It was obviously a mistake. would have been nice if they honored it but probably woulda screwed them up. I mean, they do have really good deals...but not that good. I'll be spending my 10% off coupon.

    I just got an apology email from BestDeals USA. They apologized for the price error and said that they could not possibly fulfill the orders because the price was obviously "unrealistic".

    They offered me a 10% discount on any purchase through amazon for a product they offer.

    Can't blame them, nor the people who ordered a bunch. It wouldn't be right to hold them to honoring any of the orders, given how unrealistic the price was.

    I think they are great for offering 10% discount for the incident, although I will probably never use it.

    I love how the people who only ordered 1 or 2 are getting pissed off at the people who ordered 100. The price was obviously a mistake. It's not like the guy would have fulfilled any of these orders. Lol. The flash is selling for $70 online! Which means that at the LEAST these things wholesale for 30.00$. Be realistic! 5$ for a 70$ flash!? Cmon MAN!

    my ordered got cancelled. i ordered 4. thanks to the guys who ordered 1000 flashes for no reason lol. if anyone has some extras to sell. id pay you $20 bucks a piece. i was looking for at least 3 to do location shoots. nothing commercial im a video guy by trade. just looking to pick up a hobby.

    Just got an email from Amazon. The order has been cancelled. I guess it WAS too good to be true.

    You can't get mad if they don't fill your order... If you add up all the 1-5 piece orders, that's still a big loss. As long as they refund your money they did nothing wrong.

    Yeah, my sister and her husband just built a second house in the Florida keys too and I have her set up as an alternate address at places like amazon. They go back and forth so when I know she going to be down there I make up a list of stuff I need and then go online once she's there and buy and have stuff shipped to her, usually either free or cheap within the U.S. Then she just brings the stuff back for me. That's how I got alot of stuff I used to motorize my slider and a bunch of my photo accessories 😉 She's not down there next until some time in November so I was screwed this time around when this came up.

    I hope they honor the orders for 1-5 units.. that's the people who really need them. The ones who ordered 100... SOL

    I remember the same thing happend with the $99 Touchpads, the people who ordered 100 got their orders canceled by HP but if you bought less than 5 units your order was honored.

    If they don't honor my 3 units I'm going to raise hell with Amazon.

    I think so many people ordered a lot hoping to resell for a profit, that the ebay prices are not going to be $80 anymore if these orders are fulfilled. I expect a few hundred to hit the re-sale market within a month if the orders go through. Prices will probably have to drop to $15 a piece.

    I'm willing to lay down money that it's ... naaaah gonna happen! I put an order in for four just for kicks, but it's a mistake and they obviously caught it, even if those whistleblowing orders for 25 or 100 had not been placed.

    @nate: I tried to have the flashes shipped to my primary address in Canada. I'm indeed from Quebec, and I got the "Cannot shit to your location blah blah blah" error. But we have a house down in Florida, thanks to my snowbird parents, to which I can have all of my "non-international-shipped-stuff" sent to. I also used a cross border shipping service in the past with great results (this company to be exact: https://freeportforwarding.com/ )

    That Examiner story is pretty typical of that site. They never cite any sources so the info they promote as fact is probably just unsubstantiated conjecture. Be interesting to see how it plays out for everybody here.

    I agree with SkunkWorks, I dont see any of us getting anything. lets round these items to $100 no one is going to give us $5,000 worth of merchandise for $500.

    if Jamal would have kept it quiet (Thanks for sharing!)maybe he would have received one or two units out of courtesy, but I doubt these sellers have these many items in stock in order to supply demand.

    When you say "site says it ships worldwide!!" are you talking about amazon.com? Where stuff ships to is up to the sellers. In this case there were 4 sellers of the item when all the craziness started but only one with it at 5 bucks. It didn't go back to 71 bucks, it always was... with that particular seller. The 5 dollar seller was removed. I wouldn't be too mad... I'll bet you're going to see a lot more people posting now that they got the same result as serge.

    For anyone who wants to avoid the "cannot ship to your destination" in the future there are many cross border shipping services that will give you a U.S address and they will drop ship it to you... not just Canada but international too. I haven't used any of them yet but I'm going to look into them. Places like myus.com, myusaaddress.ca etc. etc.

    Yet some guy in quebec can order a 100 - im a student and all i wanted was a deal. to good to be true.

    I am a Nikon shooter, and I have no need for these BUT I do know some ski and snowboard photogs that are just high school kids, and they are always asking about getting flashes to use, so I bought 4 of of these to donate to them to help them shoot more of the night snowboard rail events. So I hope the order goes through because that will make their season.

I seriously doubt that the store can handle all the outrageous sized orders that some of you made. I put an order in for two, hopefully all of you others didn't screw it up for us others.

    I just check my order and it doesn't have the option to cancel anymore. Says my order is being prepared for shipping and cannot be canceled or changed. I also ordered other stuff on amazon and those items give me the option of canceling still. So I'm going to assume my order went through for my flashes?

    Thanks Brad, I actually do hope to do some DIY projects using all 45 flashes in slave mode. Not just trying to ruin it. I don't think it's going to matter either way.

    Agree with Brad - buying 25, 50 or 100 is a huge red flag. Some people can't be happy with just 1 or 2 unfortunately.

    @Brad, did my order made it impossible for you to order one? Because it still shows as "In stock". I didn't see any "Quantity available" or anything of the kind. I'd definitely feel greedy to buy 100 flashes out of "102 remaining". But to ask me to feel bad to order stuff without any disclosed quantity limit or quantity remaining, and knowing in the first place that all the chances are that our orders will be cancelled, is kind of a stretch. When something sound too good to be true, it's because it is, and I honestly don't expect to get anything but a 502$ refund.

    alright ordered another 25. So that's 45 total. I'm sure there is almost no chance I'll get even one, but just maybe... Amazon may hold the sellers feet to the fire and make them honor it, we'll see.

    If this turns out to be legit and goes through, would someone be willing to sell me one or two? I don't want to go through the hassle of setting up a drop ship to Canada through those types of places because I've never used them before and don't know what the experience is like. I'm not greedy, I don't want a ton of them and I don't want to resell them... I just want one for myself and would like to give my brother-in-law one for Xmas.

    Purchased 3 here.. Amazon is pretty good about hold their 3rd party sellers to the prices. I got a Baby Monitor that was supposed to be $126.00 for $12.60 because someone forgot a zero. Oppss I got it the next day 🙂

    @videoguy916 - For $5 bucks it's worth finding out. LOL. They say it's Canon compatible which would include the 7D and T2i.

    Will these work on-camera on a 7D, or t2i? I know all changes will be made on the flash itself, but will it fire (at the right time) on a new canon dslr?

    @DavidN4 - The basic yongnuo wireless triggers are pretty dumbed down. They just fire a flash off manually with no communication. It's a basic trigger set that should work.
