Pico Flex Dolly – Unboxing

A few people have already left links in the comments area that they have received their Pico Flex Dollies. They were supposed to begin shipping at a later date, and hopefully it was a surprise that many went out sooner. If you have one on order and haven't received it yet, be patient as they are still in the process of shipping. Above is a video review from Vimeo member Just Basl productions. [Thanks Jarrod].

Here's a simple unboxing (below) from Vimeo member Omar Torres to show what's included. The interior pouch of the bag is meant to hold the (optional) friction arm if you ordered one with.

His follow up video with a few tests. I have tons of fun with simple point and shoot cameras, but here Omar threw one of the largest DSLRs (Canon 5D Mark II), and one the heaviest lenses (Canon 24-70mm F/2.8L) onto the little Pico.

    @Edward C - They are just finishing up all the pre-order shipping to get caught up. Soon as that happens they will open for orders. Might be end of this week?

    Just received mine, they left it on the doorstop.

    I failed to order friction arms, anybody know a good and inexpensive choice or two? I went to their website, but no options to pick one up.

    My son is using it now!

    I just got mine today, love the build quality on this bsby.. Can't wait to use it at one of my gigs.. Jib crane, konova, and pico is a triple threat combo hehe

    For those in the US who already got them, did your tracking info update from the initial "label printing" notice, to something else prior to shipping?

    Or did it just show up in the mail?

    Wow!!! just received my pico in the mail and it's amazing. I already have the larger Konova dolly and I have another one from DV Caddie, but this is so fun and functional...and so small. You can tuck it into about any corner of a gear box or bag and have it around just in case you need some unique shots. The quality seems really good. The edges might be a little harsh, but nothing dangerous or bad and having milled corners would probably double the price. I'm going to take it with me on a shoot tomorrow and if I have time will do some test with my gopro. With it's compact size, quality and price, this is a "must have" gadget in my opinion.

    @Apostolos - The email you received was from the label being printed from Paypal. Nothing was due to ship until Sept 12th here in the US.

    I got an email saying mine shipped on the 3rd with USPS confirmation no, but nothing so far. And I'm in LA. Where is this shipping from, NorCal or China>? Are the guys who are making it the same guys who make the magic arm?

    I got mine, canst wait to use it, and cant wait till someone makes a DIY on some rails to put the dolly on and make it function like a slider
