    @lorenzo pickett - Glad it worked out at the discount price. I'm very happy with the Rokinon Cine lenses that I have been using. Highly recommend these things for the quality you get for the price.

    Emm!! just wanted to hit you with an "Update" My lens came in the mail today and dude I fell in love immediately!!!
    The lens relatively light weight in comparison to my Canon 24-105 F4
    The focus ring is smooth, the Bokeh is creamy smooth and it 1.4 this lens is much sharper than what has been portrayed in reviews that I have read. It feels like a very well built lens just as sold as the Rokinon 85mm and 14mm that I own. I can not wait to really test it out! I am sure this lens will be a hit among videographers!!

    I know man I was all excited. Shipping initially stated that I would receive it on on the 11th so when it didnt come I emailed them. I can say they gave me a speedy response which I was please with but I wish they stated it upon purchasing it!! Anyway I am not making a big fuss, it was a great deal!! I will let you know when mine comes in!!!

    @lorenzo pickett - That sucks (sorta), but at least you got a good deal and they followed up with a response. I was not able to opt in for this lens, but i'm excited to see how this lens performs on the GH3 camera.

    @boris - i have both the 24 and 35, and wouldn't say the 24 is extremely soft wide open compared to the 35. 1.4 is perfectly usable, especially for video. i normally wouldn't shoot photos on a manual lens anyway.

    Keep in mind, this lens is extremely soft wide open, unlike the 35mm cine version wich i don't have but have read to be sharper.

    But the second link I posted was for the cine version as well. Just saying that the 699.00 price jump is crazy for it just being the regular version compared to the cine style lens only 30 dollars more.

    @Cassius - The link you sent was for a 'bid auction' with several days left to bid. It's not the 'Buy It Now' price, so eventually that one listing can sell for more.

    got this lens when it was on sale a few weeks ago (thanks emm). really lovely rendition and 24mm is highly useful for full frame, 1.6x as well as 2x crop. would recommend if you ever find it for a good price.

    @Everyone - They changed the price pretty quick, but I would suggest buying the Nikon version and getting a cheap adapter to fit the Canon.

    Hmm,

    I see the ones for Olympus Panasonic, Pentax, Sony at $499.99 But the Nikon and Canon ones are much more expensive ($529.99 and $699.99 respectively).
